Jiangsu Shengjian | Outstanding Master and Disciple SHOW Phase 3
2021-09-17
The production management department is the center of all aspects of production, and young cells will make this "central nervous system" more efficient and faster. Young employees are the backbone of an enterprise and the key to promoting its sustainable development. This year, many new employees were added to the production management department, and Engineer Xu and Senior Engineer are two of them.

Master: Xugong (right) Apprentice: Xu Gong (left)
Xu Gong, a post-2000 generation, joined Jiangsu Shengjian as soon as he graduated and was engaged in material control in the equipment direction. The material control work is tedious and precise. The accurate purchase and on-time arrival of relevant materials are the key to on-time delivery of products. How to accurately prepare materials is a huge challenge for newcomers. When Xu Gong first arrived in the workshop and warehouse, he often felt overwhelmed when faced with the numerous equipment and complicated materials. Thanks to the careful guidance of his master, Xu Gong, now he is familiar with the road and can handle daily work calmly. Master Xugong told his apprentices: "You can't swim while standing on the shore," he said. He should work diligently in the sports car room and warehouse, and don't be afraid of trouble others. Just ask if you don't understand. He also told his apprentices that "a good memory is not as good as a bad pen." The planning work is tedious, so he must grasp it. Focus on the key points, record and prioritize each item, and then solve it step by step.
The masters and apprentices of XCMG and Xu Gong worked closely together and actively coordinated the rhythm of production and supply chain, which effectively improved the company's equipment and material turnover rate.

Master: Li Gong (left) Apprentice: Gao Gong (right)
"It is better to teach a man to fish than to teach him to fish." Master Li Gong did his best to teach his skills so that his apprentices, senior engineers, would take fewer detours and make fewer mistakes and become familiar with their job responsibilities faster. During the learning process, senior engineers learned more from their masters, communicated and discussed better working methods and methods. The master and apprentices made progress together and achieved each other, creating a good learning atmosphere internally.
After learning, you will know your shortcomings, and after teaching, you will know your difficulties. Through the "teacher-apprentice" activity, the apprentice can continuously learn new knowledge and master new skills; at the same time, the master can also realize his own shortcomings in the process of leading the apprentice. In order to continuously improve oneself and achieve the goal of master and apprentice learning from each other and making progress together, the "1+1>2" effect is achieved.
